Privacy policy
This policy explains the limited data practices of the skills-only Stock & ETF Research Panel plugin and this policy website.
Effective August 15, 20261. Scope
This policy covers the publisher’s operation of the plugin and this website. ChatGPT and OpenAI services are operated by OpenAI under OpenAI’s own privacy terms. The publisher does not control OpenAI’s processing.
2. Information the publisher receives
The plugin has no publisher-operated MCP server, external database, login system, analytics tool, advertising tracker, or contact form. The publisher does not receive or store your ChatGPT prompts, responses, identity, account information, portfolio data, or conversation history through the plugin.
3. This website
This site supplies static policy information. It does not intentionally set publisher analytics or advertising cookies and does not collect information through forms. Its hosting provider may process routine technical information, such as IP address, device data, and request logs, to deliver and protect the site.
4. Purposes, recipients, and retention
Routine hosting data may be used for security, reliability, fraud prevention, and delivery. It may be processed by the site’s hosting provider and infrastructure suppliers. Any retention is determined by those providers’ operational and legal requirements; the publisher does not maintain a separate copy.
5. Personal-finance data exclusion
The plugin does not need and is instructed not to request, retain, repeat, infer, or use account type, jurisdiction, tax status, dollar amounts, income, net worth, holdings, exposures, withdrawals, expenses, liquidity needs, loss capacity, risk tolerance, age, family circumstances, credentials, identifiers, or records. If volunteered, these details are ignored. Security names may be retained only as research candidates; ownership, quantities, percentages, and dollar weights are discarded.
6. Permitted research controls
The plugin may use only impersonal controls such as candidate securities, security type, market or listing universe, hypothetical horizon, general objective, scenario shocks, reporting currency, and requested depth. Horizon and objective are scenario labels, not a personal profile.
7. Your choices
You can stop using the plugin, remove it from ChatGPT, delete relevant chats using ChatGPT controls, and manage OpenAI privacy settings. Questions about OpenAI-held data should be directed to OpenAI. Questions about this policy may be reported through the support process.
8. Changes
Material changes will be posted here with a revised effective date before they apply where required.
